Actually the mental image I get there is *awesome*.
You'll put yer eye out...
I sure hope you get it figured out 2J!
In the mean time... you should try to calm down... ;~)
I like the word “judicial”...”discriminative: expressing careful judgment” .
I consider myself to be quite judicious, “having or characterized by good judgment or sound thinking.”
Reality is, he’s not physically able to do the show this year.
Besides, it’s part of my five year plan. I’ve taken every fifth year off since we started.
The book is still open and accepting wagers. ;~)
Ironic, ain’t it, that they’re doin’ Vegas again...
The thing is, I almost got Steve to go with me. I don’t think they take me serious, sis...I really don’t and as much as I hate it, I think they might if Steve is with me.
I went out to lunch with Steve and we discussed the game plan. I’m going to start dealing with individual symptoms instead of going in there with a whole list of things messed up. Like my eye being blurry. Ok...I’m going to find out what’s making my eye blurry. That can’t be too hard and anxiety can’t make just one eye blurry so they can’t pull that out and try to dust it off again.
So that’s what I’ve got the call in about now.
Yeah - you’d think you’d want to give them the whole picture so nothing is disregarded, but maybe you’re right.
you’re joking, right?
if you don’t say “#@$% no”, I’m gonna cut yuh...
crickey 2J, don’t take no fer an answer...
Next time someone mentions anxiety mention that the only thing causing anxiety in your life is doctors that can’t figure out how to order ****** brain scan.
Grrrr
My mother, who has been an RN for 25+ years, once said she worked with some doctors who couldn’t order a burger at Mcdonalds.
I've been lucky with my Cardiologist, but even with all the testing, they still don't know why I go into A-Fib from time to time. We're just treating the results of it, at this point. I've always thought it was hormonal, since it didn't come on until about 10 years ago, just about the time I was likely beginning to be pre-menopausal. I'm hoping all that is over soon, and maybe when it is, the A-Fib will go away, too!
But SirKit still hasn't found anyone who can give him any reason why his right hemi-diaphragm is paralyzed. He spent some time yesterday morning with a Radiologist who agreed to provide him with ALL the views from the CT Scan on disc, so he could take them to any doctor he wanted. He's going to send the disc to his best friend, who is a radiologist in MS, to see if he can figure out anything.
And so it begins...Be Strong and Ever Vigilant.
Well, so much for doctors doing their part. One step at a time, fix one thing and move on is a great plan. Good Luck.
Well said, OT, our sentiments exactly.
Can I say that?
you can if’n yer name ain’t Imus...
