Thanks for the tip on the knifecenter, seems there is more than one thing on my ‘way cool, we’re getting that’ list that is on that website.

Yah... Finding that site has been expensive for me. Took me quite a while to buy my way out of just the Benchmade section. :-)

They have pretty good prices and a huge inventory. They’re very responsive to emails with questions, too.

Oh, what a delightful rifle! Good on you, g'nad, for buying yourself such a cool toy!

I'll be watching your mods ... may feature in my NaNo this year!

I'm still working on lastyear's Nano and two other stories, all at the same time.

Keeps you busy, doesn't it?

I'm thinking of doing a modified NaNo this year, to pick up where last year's NaNo left off and write an additional 50K words.

And, oh yeah, all you NaNo folk ... looky here ... NaNo for July!

Also, the Yahoo news group Mad Challenges is pretty cool.

I hope I can finish NaNo this year!

Have you and Bear seen the movie The Bucket List? We watched it tonight, and enjoyed it immensely! This is the first movie I've seen with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman together. They were great!

fail owned pwned pictures
see more pwn and owned pictures

If that's Cyrillic on that ATM, it probably means some Russian bank is running bootleg software on their ATMs. They should have made sure they had the app cracked properly before deploying.

So...I scheduled an appointment for Abby at 5:00 p.m. tonight...and then cancelled it.

Last night she was more alert and a little more active. I went to change the blanket that we’ve used interchangeably with her bed (when they were wet). It was dry, and I checked her box. Sure enough, she’s been using it.

She just didn’t ~look~ sick at all. So, we decided to keep her crated for a couple more weeks. We’ll have someone care for her while we’re at the beach. And we’ll go from there.

~sigh~

mmmmmmmmmmmmm... SIG...

Spent the evening adoring and loathing it...

loved it till I got to the front pivot screw, which I gather has been the bane of 556 owners... so I called KNS Precision Inc and ordered a push-pin replacement...

Looks and feels great, a little light in the stock. operating rod and spring are in the gas tube, eliminating a rear buffer spring.

Haven’t shot it yet, still have to mount and zero optics (ZPoint for now, till I get an ACOG), get the Urban ERT sling in and mounted, and the KNS push pin installed... in between work, VBS, mentoring, and ball games for the kidz...

It’s OK to play it by ear. Wait until you’re sure it’s the right thing. Usually when it’s time, you’re no longer conflicted about it, it’s obvious.

Good morning. :~)
