GOP, that's a cute nephew!
As for the Rush/Renai water thing, it usually occurs at either top of the hour or bottom of the hour breaks(I used to do college radio and a little AM board op work in the late 1980's and I remember these things).

I can't listen to my radio without headphones on at work, and I happily turn down the volume at any break..it's not going to kill me for the 3 minutes or so of either commercials or repeats of news.

I love to read, although I haven't done any serious reading recently, unless it's one of the magazines I subscribe to (Hemmings Muscle Machines and Whisky Magazine, 'natch : )

OH, here's the latest on my Chizzler: the front brakes have been upgraded to '73 vintage discs, new front suspension pieces are on, as are new tires mounted on 15" wheels (to be changed later).

Ah. I don't quite get the timing of it because I listen to the show archives--I'm a Rush 24/7 subscriber. I currently work doing the TV equivalent of what a radio board op does (sans any reading of local news copy or anything of significance on the air). But it seemed random since I'm listening to an archived show...

Does Hemmings still print Hemmings Motor News? I have been considering getting my next car as more of a “classic” car so I can learn and/or teach myself about the mechanics of cars and what have you.
