I find it amusing to see the fancy, polished guitar off to the side while he plays the well worn “beater”. Makes me wonder what is special about the one he’s playing.

This is my favorite tommy song, Since we met. And here's why his guitars are so beat up. and this is the gorgeous guitar the tommy uses.

I like Tommy Emmanuel - a little too country for me, but he’s a great player.

He’s great. Also try Monte Montgomery.

Tommy Emmanuel gave a concert in Scottsdale two weeks after 9/11. In a highly entertaining display of his amazing guitar talent, he brought light into a dark time.

I guess that answers those questions! But it begs another... how long does a guitar last him?

Very nice.

My favorite guitarist is Li Jie. Check out Paganini's Caprice No 24 and Gran Jota.

Nice!

I got to see him live in a small venue a few years back. Mind-blowing - he’s an incredible guitarist (as in super-human...) and a marvelous entertainer as well.

It did make me want to go home and burn my guitar, though... ;-)

That was awesome! His version of House of the Risng Sun was really nice. I’ve never heard of him before this post. I tracked down his tour schedule and found out he’s going play in my town next month. He’s even holding a six hour guitar workshop. How cool is that? Thanks.
