I remember the “disposable diapers” vs. “washable diapers” argument 30 years ago. I used a diaper service for my older kids. I was very sad the “disposables” won that argument.

I remember the “disposable diapers” vs. “washable diapers” argument 30 years ago. I used a diaper service for my older kids. I was very sad the “disposables” won that argument.

We did this with our first daughter, using washable diapers (except we washed our own instead of a service), and she constantly had skin rashes and was sick a lot (yes, we even switched to different brands of detergent to figure out if that was the problem), and soon as we switched to disposable...no problems. All of the kids have used disposable since. Yeah, I know, it's not great, but I was sick of the diarrhea thing.
