Mr G’s laptop died and he needed a new one *now*! He couldn’t find any without Vista, and after listening to him moan and groan about it I finally put him in the car, took him to the apple store, and MADE him buy a Mac.

He loves it.

My step mother is happy as can be since spending about $1000 more for a Mac than she would have spent for a PC back in February. I used to get calls from her about twice a week with problems she was having on her old PC, and now we rarely if ever talk about computers, other than all the cool things she's doing with her Corel paint program.

Where the PC got in her way all the time, the Mac is just a tool for her to do her work, like a pencil or paintbrush. She loves it, while her PC experience did little more than aggravate her and make it difficult to get her work done.
