What happened?
And how can we fix this?

I’m writing a name in on my ballot and I’m voting conservative in other races. There’s no point in encouraging the GOP ever more leftward.

What happened was too many "conservatives" were so worried about the enemy (the Beast) at the gate, they picked someone who they thought could beat the beast, and disregarded basic conservative principals and the few candidates that espoused them across the board.
How to fix it? Stick to our guns, and don't go for the pretty face, but the beautiful conservative mind.

On the Democrat's side, you are right. On the Republican side, it's not the whole story. Beside big business supporters, Republican's stereotypes include bigot, anti-immigrant, and religious zealot. McCain is not seen as any of them.

What happened? Their National Committees have so much power running our country that they don't care if we see their agenda anymore.
