Lindsay Lohan will travel to India next year to do missionary work with the Times Square Church Missions, In Touch magazine reported. "She has made it clear she definitely wants to come along," her father Michael Lohan told the celebrity magazine. "Our trip next February encompasses the issues of child sexual slavery in India. We also deal with helping AIDS victims." Her father, who previously had a very turbulent relationship with his 21-year-old daughter, told the magazine Lohan has been considering other international missions. "Lindsay's very spiritual," the ex-con-turned-youth minister told In Touch. "She has a wonderful heart, loves people and is very charitable."

I’m betting she never actually does much charity work... another excuse to visit someplace famous..
I’m guessing she returns from India with the conviction that I (through my tax dollars) need to do more for the poor around the world.

Anyone aside from me notice the non-presence in the news of a Hapless Hilton yclept Paris of late? Not that I’m complaining, mind. Whatever they used to kill off that celebutante, they ought to bottle it and use liberal sprinklings on said Lohan and one Ritchie, too. Then it’s Britney’s turn — unless she finally goes around the twist for one last time and her brain explodes...
