Just bizarre. I can see a scenario in which an attractive 22 year old ensign fresh out of OTC might have been assigned to the DC area in a logistics role and have gotten in way over her head, cost of living wise, in the pricey DC area.

But this woman was in her 30s in a position of some responsibility with presumably at least 10 years' service under her belt.

According to one artilce I read, she has 19 years of service. I'm sure this includes her enlisted time.
