Man Accused Of Punching Police Horse

TAMPA, Fla. -- A Lakeland man has been arrested after he punched a police horse in the rear end, police said.
A Tampa Police Department report said Carl Coward, 24, balled his fist and punched the horse in the right rear hip area as the officer and horse were clearing an area in Ybor City at 3:15 a.m. Sunday.
A jail official said Coward was charged with offenses against police animals and has been released from jail on $500 bond. It was not immediately known if he had an attorney.

This happened during the “Busing” horror show in Boston during the 70’s Some punk punched a Police horse in the face and ran away. The Boston Police Special Operations team ( A group not to be messed with.)stormed into the local pub the punk hung around in and beat the snot out of every person in the bar as a lesson to all.

I punched a horse once.
Dam thing ran away with the bit with me on it's back.
Galloped and bucked till I got thrown.
When I caught up with it I punched it as hard as I could right between the eyes.
Never had another moment of trouble from that horse.

10 years or so back (maybe more) a University of Cincinnati basketball player punched a police horse outside a bar and got into some trouble over it.

What about those who had nothing to do with the incident? Everyone in the bar should have sued the snot out of the city and each and every one of those thugs personally and filed criminal charges against them.
That’s not what we hire cops to do nor what we want them to do.
