NO, NO, NO, NO, NO! It’s the YELLOW ROSES that PREVENT malaria. You need to send me MORE of them.

I’m too old for what I’ve been doing. Slinging hash is for young men.

Best some venues fail early. Let me know if I can help. I’m heartily leaning toward advisory positions. The doing part is getting more difficult. Getting old sucks.

I was asked to compromise my standards. If I’m going to do that, I may as well cook. I’m flipping between kitchen and lab about every 3 months. I can do either, just as well. IT is over-rated, except for the paychecks, the hours, and the lack of hard-core standing on one’s feet for 10 hours at a stretch.

I’m starting over in planning and I don’t know anything about the Bristol area. I’m thinking there may be as many as 45 people attending the dinner.
And we’re really strapped for cash.

You got it in one, bro. I love it. It hates me.

Are you doing what you enjoy? Are you getting your bills paid? Everything else is gravy.
Can you free-lance your IT jobs? Or cooking?

Hmmm. Any excess animal-control problems in the local area? Cats or dogs out of control? Not that I'm recommending a menu.... just asking about local conditions.
Stir-fry might be a good choice....

Yes, No, No gravy tonight.
Trying and trying. No cash-flow to go with, but that's ok.

I don’t know about the animules. Since the dinner will occur near Rave’s area, I can’t speak to anything about that. Perhaps there is some deer or bear available.
If the dinner were here we could be talking venues and menues. As it is, I need to reconnoiter the area first.

Deer, bear, or other varmits sound like stir-fry this close to the event. It will work out. It generally does.

This close to the event? I’ve got three months. What am I missing?

6 months to age the large critters. Other than that, nothing.

And I have to appolgize. I'm grumpy. I have many work hours to blame that on, but I won't. I miss being in charge. And having to follow another chef's lead.
I would hang the critters and let them mold up in an aging shed, like expensive beef. But that's just me. And right now, I'm not in charge of anything.

Apology accepted. A long time ago. We all go through times that are less than what we wish.
Any ideas at all are being entertained now.

Holy hand grenade. Try not to think on it. Really.
Monty Python is nothing. Really. Just concentrate on NOT thinking about it.
Standing back to watch....

Hey, I gotta get off-line for a few hours. I cannot tell you how pleased I am to have you back here. You have made me very happy today just by being here. Please don’t stay away this long any more.
