How lucky you are to have seen them.
We do not have them, too far from water, for me to see them.
I do have Quail, they have nested in the big tree for the past 30 years.

Sorry, Can’t resist.
If you live in NW Arizona, it is not a long trip north across Utah and the dinosaur territory into Idaho and the Snake river..... Hageman Idaho lots of white pelicans.
BTW..... I truly love NW Arizona.

LOL, Have camped at the Big Bend a couple of times, loved that area of the Snake River.
True, not that far, but I am no longer able to travel, so live with my memories and Swampsniper’s photos.
