Prayer Request for Jim Robinson Original post: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1995434/posts?page=1
Sorry about being gone all day yesterday. I was at the VA hospital where a team of doctors and cardiovascular surgeons were examining my legs and trying to come up with a treatment plan for the circulatory problem I've been fighting for the last several years. The good news is they think they can save my legs! Hurrah! And I will probably be out most of today too. I'm going back to the VA this morning for some sonogram tests. More on that on another thread later. By the way, I was really impressed with the professionalism, courtesy, concern, care and respect the VA staff gives to our veterans. These people are great! |

No prayer request made on a thread for another is ever seen by me as inappropriate.
Our God is big enough to handle all of our problems, and I don’t think you need to be concerned about asking for our prayers, along with those we’ve already offered up for Jim.
God bless our Military and a special portion for those in a warzone and for those suffering in any form or fashion. I’m pleased to pray for two “Jim’s” at the same time.
No fears my friend. Prayer threads are not the place where flames are thrown (usually).
God speed, and may the VA docs find out what is going on with you.
And thanks for your service.

Thank you so much for the description and update.
I believe that specific prayers help the prayERS as God knows everything about us, anyway!!
Prayers UP for you, Jim.
It sounds like you have a great team fighting for and with you - and with God’s help, you are going to beat this.

Phil, I live right near the Blues - and don’t have that picture.
Thanks for posting that - and continued prayer for both Jim’s on this prayer thread.

Dear Lord, Jim! You sound like my next door neighbor. The rashes and antibiotics and no circulation. (He's not in a wheel chair though) They've had him in every VA hospital on the west coast and they finally decided to completely transfuse his blood. After three near death ‘codes’, the transfusion seems to have done the trick. The cantankerous ‘old’ Army officer is back though it did age him tremendously.
Of course, you will have my prayers for as long as you need them.
God Bless you and yours in this trying time.
