Prayer Request for Jim Robinson Original post: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1995434/posts?page=1
Sorry about being gone all day yesterday. I was at the VA hospital where a team of doctors and cardiovascular surgeons were examining my legs and trying to come up with a treatment plan for the circulatory problem I've been fighting for the last several years. The good news is they think they can save my legs! Hurrah! And I will probably be out most of today too. I'm going back to the VA this morning for some sonogram tests. More on that on another thread later. By the way, I was really impressed with the professionalism, courtesy, concern, care and respect the VA staff gives to our veterans. These people are great! |

Glad the surgery went well and you’re home to rest now. I will continue to pray for you for a complete & speedy recovery.
To: Jim Robinson
Heck! Now if they take that toe, you won't be able to do "This little piggy went to market ..." (especially useful for voting this year), but given the alternative, who cares?
Prayers always for Jim and family!

Jim,
Glad to hear that you are home. Hopefully you are sound asleep by now. Prayers that you are not in pain and that you will get good news from the docs.
To: M0sby
Being home is so much more RESTFUL than the hospital! Ain't that the truth. When you are in the hospital, they are there to take care of you. You get to rest when you go home.

“Ain’t that the truth. When you are in the hospital, they are there to take care of you. You get to rest when you go home.”
ABSOLUTELY!
There is NO rest at a hospital.. (well..in 1/2 hour increments..)...which is good...it’s probably bad for them to not check on you for 8 hours of shut eye :-)

Sounds like a deal to let em take the big toe and keep the legs.
Be Well and Mrs. Robinson too.

Jim, welcome back! They’ll have to explain it all over again in the morning (trust me on that one). Sleep well and we’ll see you in the morning.
To: Jim Robinson
Great report!
I am sorry to hear that the doc thinks the big toe needs removal. But the news about the legs is wonderful.
Get some rest and let us know how you feel.
In the meantime, prayers for your toe to remain with the original owner will continue.
