Everything looks like it's going south of Ft. Worth at the moment. Sprinkling down here, but that's 360 miles away.

Roadtrip-manana.

The last update from Jayski regarding the AT&T situation is a bit complicated:

- AT&T is in the first year of a 3-year/no-refund agreement with Richard Childress Racing, signed in June 2007, reportely worth between $16 million and $18 million per year.

- As part of the settlement between NASCAR, Sprint/Nextel and AT&T last September, AT&T agreed to pull out of the Nextel/Sprint Cup Series at the end of 2008.

- That settlement hasn't stopped Richard Childress from lobbying NASCAR to give AT&T Cingular's slot in the exemptions granted Cingular and Alltel when Nextel became the series sponsor.

Just got off the phone with WCG...

She’s having a great time and has lot of pics. No way to post them tho.

Bad weather is looming so she headed for her holdup.

She’ll be back at the track tommorrow for even more pics and fun.

Not sure about the shoot-out.

About to go to CC and trade wife for grandson so we can head north on the morning. :)

WCG sent that too me the other day when FR was down, took me all day, but finally got it posted.

Sally was driving home from one of her business

trips in Northern Arizona when she saw an elderly

Navajo woman walking on the side of the road.

As the trip was a long and quiet one, she stopped

the car and asked the Navajo woman if she would like a ride.

With a silent nod of thanks, the woman got into the car.

Resuming the journey, Sally tried in vain to make

a bit of small talk with the Navajo woman. The old

woman just sat silently, looking intently at

everything she saw, studying every little detail,

until she noticed a brown bag on the seat next to Sally.

‘What in bag?’ asked the old woman.

Sally looked down at the brown bag and said, ‘It’s

a bottle of wine. I got it for my husband.’

The Navajo woman was silent for another moment or two.

Then speaking with the quiet wisdom of an elder, she said:

‘Good trade.’

A very good trade!

The seats are higher up than Daytona, so not sure what we'll end up with as far as pics. Beggers can't be choosers. LOL
