This is an animated video of children and the abuse of a homemade weapon. As a child, I with a slingshot, 22 rifle and 12 gage shot gun, killed many kinds of birds just to see if I could aim good and bring the little creature to the ground. I didnt kill for food but in adolescent behavior. It is so cruel and for this reason I created this video to show and teach the cruelty of this kind of behavior, live and let live.
I never hit it. I can't remember if I put tabasco sauce inside a handful of hamburg or only discussed the idea...
The people next door to us had a dog. We did not. Every morning they would open their side door and the dog would poo on our lawn.
My dad tried talking to the neighbor. He swore to stop but his teenagers continued anyway.
The next Saturday morning my Dad grabbed a handful of lucky stones and a slingshot. He came into my bedroom at about 5 am and waited. Round about six, the dog wandered onto our lawn. First squat and my Dad let one fly. “Yelp!!!!” went the dog and he ran.
About an hour later, the scene repeated. “Yelp!!!!”
By the end of the weekend, the dog could not be dragged onto our lawn. The teens actually tried.
I was so proud of my Dad!!!!
I should point out that I was about 12 when this occured.
Well, I used to shoot plastic BB’s at the squirrels on my mom’s birdfeeder. It got to the point where I had to use my brother’s semi-automatic BB gun because the squirrels quickly learned that the sound of me cocking the BB gun was quickly followed by a plastic pellet to the hindquarters. I don’t know whether it hurt the squirrels or just startled them more (it mildly stings on bare skin, and the squirrels had all that fur).
LOL, thanks for your comment. :)
