McCain is a sick joke. He babbled when talking about foreign policy and need Lieberman to whisper answers to him.

We have to pray for a McCain win in November then try mightily to stave off McAmnesty for 4 more years and endure what we must while trying to rebuild the base for 2012.

I’m writing Duncan Hunter’s name in on my ballot in November.

Yeah but he has an ‘R’ after his name, so that makes it ok. < /sarcasm off >

Not if we are going to show them that we are willing to be persuaded by them, when they are unwilling to go along with us to do what is right.

Of course we should do what is right irrespective of what they think or say. But if we are going to let them pursuade us to not do what is right...well, then...

Are you sure you’re posting to the right person?

Since you asked, although those are very important issues, that’s where the differences between McCain and Kerry end.

See if you notice any similarities.

America is good and royally f@ck#d!

At one time I thought we had dodged the bullet. Instead, we we were maneuvered right into it by our mainstream media and political masters.

Check Mate!

The rest of the world will soon be fighting over our ravaged national carcass right along with our own dependent and criminal classes.

Excuse me, please. I'm going down in the basement to clean my guns and inventory my bugout bag. I think I will need them soon. /over and out/

That's what it sounds like to me...

Our ONLY hope at this point is for McCain to pick a CONSERVATIVE running mate (ie. Duncan Hunter) and at the same time RESIGN from the race which will allow Duncan Hunter to pick an appropriate running mate..

McCain is even further over the edge than I thought. The speech reads like a mix of George Bush, Al Gore, and Bill Clinton. It just convinces me even more that I should vote third party. No matter who wins this next election it will be a disaster.

3rd party is not the answer IMHO.... personally i would rather vote for Obama or Hillary and FIGHT OUT the next 4 years with a conservative congress.... rather than support McCain and DESTROY the two-party system... I am MORE opposed to having a 3+ party system than I am dealing with HildaBEAST or Obama... just my 2 cents worth

My thought is that a third party could exist competitively on its own, although, I admit that historically none has been able to do it. If not, the third party could replace the GOP when the country-clubing, blood blooded, log cabin types go ahead and join their comrades in the democrat party.
Meanwhile, we need to do everything we can to keep as many conservatives as possible in Congress. There is no way, however, that I can vote for any of the three democrats. Not even the one with the R after his name.

I like to think of my vote for the “D” over McCain is choosing the best enemy to fight... it would be a lot easier for the conservatives in congress to aggressively oppose the “D” than it would be to fight McCain... and would give conservaties the wake-up call they need to do better in 2012... or better yet McCain could see what he has done to our party and bow out before November...
