3rd party is not the answer IMHO.... personally i would rather vote for Obama or Hillary and FIGHT OUT the next 4 years with a conservative congress.... rather than support McCain and DESTROY the two-party system... I am MORE opposed to having a 3+ party system than I am dealing with HildaBEAST or Obama... just my 2 cents worth

Of course the BEST solution at this point is for McCain to pick a CONSERVATIVE running mate (ie. Duncan Hunter) and at the same time RESIGN from the race which will allow Duncan Hunter to pick an appropriate running mate..

My thought is that a third party could exist competitively on its own, although, I admit that historically none has been able to do it. If not, the third party could replace the GOP when the country-clubing, blood blooded, log cabin types go ahead and join their comrades in the democrat party.
Meanwhile, we need to do everything we can to keep as many conservatives as possible in Congress. There is no way, however, that I can vote for any of the three democrats. Not even the one with the R after his name.
