She was captain of her high school cheerleading squad, a nearly straight-A student and a soon-to-be pre-med student at the University of Florida

Seems she wanted to be a D student.

Poor taste man, this was someone’s daughter that died from complication of surgery. Same thing could have happened if she had had knee surgery

Your gonna get slammed by the overly sensative crowd, but that is a funny comment.

You are taking a lot of heat for this statement, but I for one agree with you. I have a hard time getting upset when people suffer (or die) because of their own ignorance and vanity. Although tragic, this girls's death was preventable by her and her parents, yet they decided to have the elective surgery so she could have bigger boobs. I am sure they recieved the standard 'risks involved with any surgical procedure' speech. They weighed the risk vs. rewards and made a decision. Now all involved must live (no pun intended) with the consequences.

At the root of this is the fact that this was an unnecessary surgery that she chose to undergo. If this was heart transplant or some other life saving procedure, I might be upset. I cannot be forlorn because a person dies getting a boob job. But that's just me.

I laughed as well. Seems like you've been bushwhacked by the church of the pertually outraged. I hear they have a lot in common with Reverend Wright and NoI for being so easily offended.

Was it rude and slightly uncouth ... yep. Should everyone being tearing into you like Malcom X bamboozling on a cracker? NO.

When I first read that, I thought you were trying to get a dig in on my Alma Mater.

If she wanted to be a D student all she had to do was transfer to a private school,,, her “nearly straight A” average at West Boca High School doesn’t mean a thing as it’s a gov’t school, her pre-med dreams just means that her parents have money, nothing else. My nephew graduated HS from a top rated gov’t HS here in FL with A’s and B’s , he even had some “advanced classes” and he ended up taking remedial classes for 2 years solid in college,, he still can’t reason for sh*t.

Lol. Tsk tsk /s

I worked with a gal who said that her boyfriend wanted to buy her a set a fake boobs.

I told her that her boobs looked fine, from what I had seen of them.

She said , "Really ? "

I assured her that they were just fine. I told her to suggest to him that he get a penis implant first and then they could talk about her boobs.

As far as I knew, she did not have them " enhanced".

As far as the Palm Beach gal, her parents are obviously idiots, (grieving idiots, but, idiots all the same), for going along with princess' wishes for fake boobs.

Even if the operation had been successful, they'd still be idiots.

As far as I'm concerned, unless it's for some type of reconstructive surgery, fake boobs are a freak show attraction.
