Jamie Lee Curtis has agreed to pose topless to mark her 50th birthday.
The actress said she would bare all to convince older women that they can still be beautiful if they take care of their bodies.
Her topless pose will appear on May's cover of the magazine of the American Association of Retired Persons, the U.S. equivalent of Saga.
What is it with you people and short hair on women? Not everyone looks good with long, flowing locks. I should know, I’ve tried, and I get a ton of compliments on my crop.
When I try to grow it out...not so much.

What hogwash. She is posing nude because she is egotistical, period. Tell it like it is, Jamie. You want attention just like all other over-the-hill actresses, and this is your way to attempt to get it. There will not be one other woman who will be influenced to believe that she is beautiful just because Jamie posed on the cover of AARP.
Beauty - real buty - is not measured by how your body is, but by your heart, your soul, and mind. There are millions and millions of women, over 50 who are beautiful for the love they gave their families, the sacrafices they made for their children, the work they did to create a nurturing home. My grandmother who at 82 was a beautiful woman - wrinkles, silver hair, and all. Her smiling eyes, gentle touch, comforting and guiding words, and endless love made her the most beautiful woman in our family. And her cooking wasn't so bad either! Self-assured, family-centered women don't need Jamie to tell them they are only beautiful if they look like her!

I think what truly appeals about Bo Derek at 52 is that she has not only beauty but a look of real kindness in her smile. That is what stops hearts. She simply looks blessed and good.

Thank you. Poise and grace are two attributes that I find make older women much more attractive. Young beautiful girls are a dime a dozen, but that special older woman who ages gracefully while keeping her feminine mystique is a sight to behold. IMHO...

It’s a cultural thing. If you are a woman, do you shave your legs or your arm pits? Do you wear makeup? What is so bad about not doing those things?
Do you think men should shave on a regular basis, even f they have a beard.
