I was BANNED from the Democratic Underground (DU) today.
I was banned for posting the following thread:
Subject: WOW!!! Sen. Obama is playing us like a fiddle!
Text: Sen. Obama's team set up this whole Race debacle from the get go, just so that he would have the stage set for this absolutely stirring speech on race relations. I have never seen the race card played so brilliantly in all the history of American politics. BRILLIANT!!!!
If the media gives this speech as much play as the racist Rev. Wright issue, and they will...he will find the new momentum he needs to secure the popular vote in the dem primary, no doubt. This man may even be our next POTUS, judging by the brilliant political savvy his team is displaying and his heaping helping of charisma, he is looking very very good!
Can any of you see this backfiring? I simply can not.

After being referred to as a "troll freeper," I wanted to join this forum as a liberal and see what it is you folks are all about. So, here I am, letting you conservatives know that there are liberals being banned by the [expletive deleted] from Liberal forums because we do NOT agree with the path Sen. Obama et al. have chosen. I am not the only one that has been banned for speaking out against these race card tactics.
Many of us are disgusted.
I'm sure it will not be long before I'm banned here too, but I will play by your rules until then.

Obamanites, outraged at Democrats, vote McCain in protest
Conservatives, outraged at GOP, stay home.
McCain wins election
Conservatives get blamed for everything for the next 4 years.
If you look closely, you will notice that it was the moderator who cleaned up the liberal's post, not the liberal itself.
Keep the language clean, you might last a few days.
And just so I'm clear, Liberalism sucks, not Liberals. Liberals are just those that believe, because they've not been exposed to facts. It's what they've been brainwashed with.
I was once a Democrat. I even voted for Carter (thank god that Reagan won). As I served in the Navy during the Reagan years, my viewpoint changed and I realized what most here on FR know. The few times I have visited DU I was appalled at the hatred shown there.

The Democratic Party is a cult of multi-culturalism that encourages division. You’re the party of “separate but equal” that professionally pits one group against another. Democrats maintain their power, in part, by fostering the lie that individual failures are the result of discrimination in an evil, white, Christian, capitalist, America.
The disgusting, divisive, anti-semitic, anti-American venom spewed by Rev. Wright is not new to the Democratic Party. To Obama it is neither fringe nor extreme and I believe that he was caught off guard by the fact that so many Americans are shocked and offended by it. It is mainstream in the circles he and many other Democrats run in.

I love how Obama stated on his Fox interview he would have left the church if he’d heard those types of statements repeated...and in his speech explained how he could never turn his back on Wright.

I have never seen the race card played so brilliantly often, other than by the democrats. In all the history of American politics, it is always the democrats using the race, gender, class, _____________(insert issue needed on line) to call attention to their plight.
The rest of the country has bent over backwards to help the "poor souls" who just cannot make it without a *&^%$&* handout. Can't get a job, use affirmative action. Can't buy the house you want, get a stupid loan and have the taxpayers end up paying for your stupidity. Too many kids, get on welfare. Can't afford health insurance, go to the ER and have the taxpayers pay for that too.
Socialism has FAILED miserably every time it is tried.
