Has anyone read or scanned any of Wright's books?

I wanted to get any of Wright's books from our local library, but neither they nor any of the 50 libraries on their network have any of them. I am curious to see if their is continuity of the hate filled speech in his writings. If there is it would be more difficult for Obama to distance himself from the "pastor" as his books were written some time ago.

You can get a pretty good assessment of Wright’s views by googling ‘black liberation theology’. Obama was right when he said that Wright was a “respected theologian”. He is respected, in ‘black liberation theology’. BTW, wiki has a fairly good set of articles including one on Wright.

Seems Pastor Wright's family as far back as the late 1800’s were so devastated by white racism and lack of opportunity in America that they ALL earned their degrees in Virginia universities & colleges.

Interesting, also in that book is Otis Moss III, the new pastor of Obamas church.

I saw that Joiseydude. Otis, with his hip hop ministry is no prize either...

On page four he speaks about his mentors admiration of Marxist reasoning, “he explained the Hegelian method of dialectical thinking, reasoning and arguing.”

Try Amazon.com for several of his books, many available used and relatively cheaply.
