Best I can figure out is stands for Model-view-controller. Basically a new way of developing apps. Basically figuring out what it's going to look like, where the info is coming from and how to get the info into it. Not rocket science or even anything new.

Reminds me of the old days, when I was told by a snotty young instructor that I would not understand relational database because I had never worked with them. I explained to him that instead of the database telling me what the relationship is, I actually had to hand code those relationships, so I certainly understand how they work.

Same thing happened with me. I was not hired because I did not understand how to use a relational database?

Good God, I could creat my own software to do that simple task!

But, the stupid people only asked if I knew how to use thier specific relational database.
