Giving away the most garbage does not make an overweight college drop-out the powerful woman on Earth. I would be shocked to learn that this fraud has actually ever read a book she recommended, or understood any charity she donated to.(remember the fiasco of the South African School). This book is just another example of how stupid she really is, and how gullible her followers are.

I am no fan of Oprahs, but I don’t think she’s dumb. At the very least, she has a lot of street smarts. Her attraction for the sheeple, I suspect, is her personal warmth. She has parlayed the skills that she has into a multi-million dollar empire - not bad for a college drop-out, I’d say.
Like many (most?) of us, she has some difficulties in her past and is looking for something to make those difficulties sting less. Unfortunately, we are the world/we are the children ain’t it . . .

The Power of Now, emphasizes the importance of being aware of the present moment as a way of not being lost in thought. Sounds like B. Hussein's campaign and his followers. "Man, he is totally NOW Man. He says everything that like makes me feel good. I don't have to worry about or think about anything because Obama is so NOW and he is going to take care of me"!

Tolle is one the greatest spiritual thinkers of our time.
The Power of Now is a life altering read for those who are open.
I think Oprah is a little late to his bandwagon, which is OK [I'm not an Oprah fan by any means] ... but if she shows others that there is a way ...then good.
Stillness Speaks is another great Tolle book.

I’ve had that book sitting on the self for about 4 years.
Maybe I should crack it open.

The good thing is that you can open to any page, and find a month’s worth of contemplation there. Good stuff. ;-D
‘Practicing the Power of Now’ is a kind of condensed version of the Power of Now.

LOL!
Amazingly, I've heard of this, and the only thing I can repeat now is, if anyone needs Oprah to choose her books for her, that person has issues that aren't going away soon.
Touchy-feely-gummint-has all the answers twit material is all that is.
No book worth reading I can think of requires 10 lessons to "teach you" what you should get out of it. Book discussion groups are great, if each reader brings his own thoughts into the discussion. If a "high priest" is needed to read it, then we're talking indoctrination, not information.
Here's the best part: Don't criticize the book, or you'll be accused of having a closed mind. I think I'll go read my old copy of The Flat Earth this afternoon.

This guy is right there with “The Aquarian Gospel Of Jesus Christ". Anyone remember that apostasy from the '60's?
Same old crap, different package, complete with a new "more today" idiot to push it.
You can bookend this garbage with her so called "miracles" courses. This is Helen Schucam's collection of "messages" and "knowledge", she claims to have received while she channeled Jesus in her spare time. Oprah has been peddling this nonsense to her daft followers, along with Obama. Kinda make you wonder if she had "visualized" a new religion for our country, complete with false prophet.

I thought all this sounded familiar...
Anyone else remember Werner Erhard and EST?
In May 1960, he was married with four children and was working as a car salesman and quite unhappy. He broke with that identity and headed West with June Bryde, who he had been seeing secretly. The story goes that he and June noticed the headlines in a news magazine on the airplane and chose the most-opposite new name they could think of: 'Werner' from physicist Werner Heisenberg, 'Hans' from Bishop Hans Lilje, and 'Erhard' from then-economics minister of West Germany, Ludwig Erhard. June took the name Ellen, and they got married. They went first to St. Louis, Missouri, to Spokane, Washington, and then to San Francisco, California.
A car salesman and apparently also a bigamist. : )

Erhard Seminar Training
Sign up, pay tons of $$$, lose many precious days of your life, suffer physical and mental abuse, get a good brain washing, so you can LEARN NOT TO THINK. Well, 'cause thinking just hurts us, makes us all sad.
Gads! Didn't God give us a brain so we could use it to think? It really isn't evil to think. God is big enough to help us with what we think about, and to help us deal with REALITY.
