Rush Limbaugh Wants Hillary Clinton To Become President (Vanity)
March 4 2008 | jveritas

Posted on 03/04/2008 6:22:49 AM PST by jveritas

Rush Limbaugh wants Hillary Clinton to become President make no doubt about it. Do not be fooled by his lies that he wants Hillary Clinton to win today in Texas and Ohio so she can stay in the race and have a fight at the democrat convention. This is not what Limbaugh wants. He wants her to win the nomination and win the Presidency.

I really had it with this man, his hate for McCain is so diabolical that he wants the Clintons back in the White House. The fool does not realize that the evil one is going to shut his radio talk show and any media opposition if elected President including Free Republic.

Is this an attempt at humour? If not, I dare not post what I think.

He doesn’t want Hillary to be president. He doesn’t hate McCain. He doesn’t much like him, but neither do I for that matter.

Rush wants what is best for America, and however this turns out, we aren’t going to get that result

You do what you like but we disagree entirely on strategy.

This is better than This.

MrB makes valid points, jveritas. I respectfully disagree with your assessment of Rush on this one. At least Rush is coming up with some strategy. What is the Republican party doing? Making a big point about not using Obama’s middle name. That’s not a strategy to boldly win, it’s a strategy of treading water. Rush is doing plenty to help McCain, right now, by exposing both Obama and Clinton. McCain needs to do his job, as well.

“..there is a reason for his strategy....” ~ The Forgotten Man

And a good one. I totally agree with it, too.

“We need Barack Obama bloodied up politically. It’s obvious that the Republicans are not going to do it, they don’t have the stomach for it,” Limbaugh continued. “As you probably know we’re getting all kinds of memos from the RNC saying we’re not going to be critical. Mark McKinnon of McCain’s campaign said he’ll quit if they get critical over Obama. This is the presidency of the United States we’re talking about. I want our party to win I want the Democrats to lose.” ~ Rush

Trolling are you? Stand by to be fired upon then. Personally I think El Rusbo screwed the pooch on this one by not coming out and endorsing one of the more conservative candidates and leaving us with McCain. Had he bothered to voice his preference we might still have a choice of candidates. He did not so we got screwed. I have stopped listening to Rush.

Rush listeners do not need Rush to tell them what to do. Anyone reading between the lines knew that he liked Thompson. We can think for ourselves.

I’m not sure if Rush really believes that, but hoping for a Democrat win is the message that is coming across to his audience. Let the Democrats screw the country up for 4-years and people will come back to a conservative way of thinking is what I am hearing, and its not just Rush saying this - but many many conservatives have also been converted to this way of thinking. And its WRONG - DEAD WRONG.

Sure they could help usher in a true conservative in 4-years, but the damage they could cause could be immeasurable. We have at least 2 SCOTUS appointments to think about and another 200+ Federal Judges who will be picked by the next President. The impact of decisions these news judges will make will not end in 4-years.

I do not trust people in the media, period. That includes Rush and Ann and Melanie, just as it includes Dan and Andrea and Christiane and Helen.

Rush needs to keep his ratings up. President Hillary Clinton gives him lots of material. She is his high octane, the sprinkles on his oatmeal, the dew and dust on his crops...the renewer of his contract.

JV -- You are missing the point with Rush.

He's a conservative for the long term and sees the potential long term damage a RINO president can do to the Conservative movement (not Republican movement) and, ultimately, to our country.

If McCain wins, he and the RINOs will finally have a victory over real conservatives, particularly social conservatives, and they will crush and push the real conservatives out of the party and the positions of power within the party.

Make no mistake, Rush will ultimately vote for McCain over Hillary or Obama, but he has not changed his conservative principles. You are simply pissed at him because he is who he is and will not change his stripes to fit the exigencies of the moment.

While either one is very scary, I am less afraid of a Clinton White House than an Obama White House.

Sometimes you have to calm down and digest the whole picture using logic and not emotion. I think that the numbers of Democrats turning out to vote in this Primary season is just blowing the lid off of conventional thinking and Rush, Ann Coulter and other Conservatives rationalized this early on. The MSM has remained gleefully silent about the numbers but the Conservative insiders underatand what it means and so..

They are playing the logic game by dissing McCain they make it appear that there is a rift in the GOP at the same time they are praising Hillary because they see this strange messianic movement toward Obama as a serious danger to the country.... That way they can have HIllary do the dirty work against Obama and it is working..

i.e., when would you ever believe that a Rat would use National Security as a Campaign tactic against their rival???

Get it..

The Obama Phenomenom is more like something out of the invasion of the body snatchers... People just really need to do the math..

There are TWO viable DEMOCRATS and he is pulling more people at his Primary rallies then turn out at the campaign events of any Single Presidential Candidate. Digest that.. Who are these Zombies or Obamabies...

It is very dangerous when this guy is purly Liberal Progressive and is being handled by the far left wackoos...

Jim Jones Kool-Aid had nothing on Obama-aid

You have to look ahead at what he hoping sets up.

Hillary steals the nomination and loses the entire black vote in the general election where she fails monumentally.

It's not as much fun if she loses this early.

More popcorn!

Let’s sit this one out, By Paul Mirengoff

I’ve been skeptical about suggestions that Republican voters are participating in meaningful numbers in Democratic primaries, and using their vote to help sink Hillary Clinton. In any case, I hope that Republicans aren’t doing this.

First, although I suggested in jest that I might be interested in voting in the Maryland Democratic primary, it’s my view that the Democrats (aided perhaps by sympathetic independents) should select their own nominee. Second, the reasons for favoring Obama over Clinton do not seem compelling. To the contrary, Clinton strikes me as somewhat better than Obama on national security issues (their domestic views are largely indistinguishable).

Clinton voted in favor of military action against Saddam Hussein when the best available evidence was that he had WMD and WMD capability. Obama did not favor such action. Clinton voted in favor of a resolution condemning the Iranian National Guard as a terrorist organization responsible for killing Americans. Obama did not vote on this resolution.

Clinton opposes direct negotiations by the U.S. president with assorted dictators like Raul Castro without pre-conditions. Obama favors such negotiations because insisting on pre-conditions would confirm to the world that the U.S. is still too arrogant.

Finally, Obama’s foreign policy advisers include harsh critics of Israel — e.g., Zbigniew Brzezinski, Robert Malley, and Samantha Power — as well as the incorrigible and disingenuous defeatist Lawrence Korb. Clinton’s advisers seem less ill-disposed towards Israel and perhaps less stridently defeatist.

For most Republicans, I would that these considerations should trump our historical distaste for Hillary Clinton, at least to the point that we would simply sit the Obama-Clinton contest out.

I don’t know about what Rush motives are... but that picture is pretty hot.

She's actually the newest cast member on "Saturday Night Live." I pulled the photo from her myspace page, as it seemed fitting here.
