Good. The problem is probably not in the hard drive.
Just for giggles, remove the CD, type EXIT, and hit enter. The machine will either shut off or reboot. Either way, let it try to boot normally. Any joy?
It wont let the CD out Should I unplug it and snap the cd out when I restart?
