Sure glad we cancelled ours in Texas. I like the idea of France/Switzerland having better scientific research facilities than we do. Besides, spending tens of billions on welfare is so much better. /s

yeah. life just isn't the same with out a partical collider.

I sold mine at a garage sale last year, and things haven't been the same since.

Yeah, but we got that swell ISS orbiting white elephant in return for ditching our Superconducting Supercollider! Aren't you happy about that?

I like to think of it from this point of view: If they are ultimately unable to contain any black holes created by this thing, It should mean that “they” will be the first to be sucked into it.
