A change of meds put my tummy off a couple weeks ago and food hasn’t interested me nor has it been good to me, so I’ve been sluggish and dwulby, too.
SF, you must get another cat. I go away for 4 or 5 days at a time without getting a sitter and could leave for longer if I got or made a feeder with that capacity.
Probably one of the main reasons there are more cats in the US today than dogs is because people travel away from home more often.
When you STOP traveling you get a dog; you sposedly already have the cat.
How can your birthday be tomorrow, when last year it was on Easter Sunday in April?? Just curious, LOL

I agree, rescued cats from a shelter can make a nice companion. I got Calli from a shelter. She was with an elderly couple that had died within a few months of each other. But Calli can be a loving pest at times. I wouldn’t trade her.
