Thanks Floratina.
Yeah I know.
I’m still watching Baba. Ellen Page is apparently going to sing in the next segment.
Just as I suspected not much of anything. I only remember her in Narnia.
three seconds.

Just found this, “Beautiful Women in Film”, thought you all might like it!
Me too. For some reason I resisted seeing that movie for the longest time. Then finally some manager at Blockbuster told me that I “had” to see it, insisted that it was a “must see movie” and promised that I wouldn’t regret it, and that they’d refund my money if I didn’t like it. LOL!
So I rented it and I loved it and watched it several times.
That was a short segment.
The Oscars were different tonight - kinda choppy all over the place.
Heh, right.
Sucky last two years for movies.
Yep, lol.
I wouldn’t be surprised. Do you think it was due to the writer’s strike.
Thanks Lainie.
And thank you Lainie very much for hosting this marvelous Oscar Awards thread! This was fun. You were simply fabulous dahlink! ;-)
Writers suck as well, but movies have been lacking at least the last two years IMO.
We would still probably hate it if the writer’s worked for five years on the awards!
Thanks Borges.
Me too, bd. I’ve seen it several times and even get up and do the dances along with the Soggy Bottom Boys. LOL. I’ve got the soundtrack, too. ;-)
True. I’m not sure of the cause or the answer. Maybe they’re pushing too hard to get product out faster than someone can perfect a good script.
True and excellent point. I don’t think they can lay blame on Jon Stewart because in retrospect, they asked him, not vice versa. Normally what you see is what you get - they knew what he was about.
