She was blogging about her experiences in the sex industry and someone just called her out of the blue to offer her the chance to write a screenplay, and now she has an Oscar.

The American dream can take people on many weird and wonderful paths to success, that’s for sure.

I guess that was Diablo Cody, writer of Juno?

What an unfortunate dress. She had to hold it down while she walked.

Juno was pro teen sex? It showed the conseqences of it. Just about every film about teens in the last 30 years can be called pro teen sex if merely depicting it was the case.

OK I GIVE UP

I have been searching for someone that died in 2007 who was mentioned during the "TRIBUTE" section. It is a child actor who I THOUGHT was in Jurassic Park/Star kid...but IMBD.com has him as alive....

I only got a glimpse of him and I know that it was not Ledger, Renfro, or Anna Nicole.

Anyone know who that kid actor was that died and was mentioned in the tribue section?

Any help would be appreciated.

Wow, remember those wonderful days of yesteryear when great actors would refuse their Oscar? {{{Sigh}}}...those were the days...

‘Tilda Swinton is Scottish born and Scottish blue blood all the way back to the 9th Century, in the Scottish border lands of Swinton.

She attended day school in London, and then she was a classmate of Princess Diana’s in boarding school at West Heath. Tilda Swinton attended Cambridge University majoring in English Literature and Political Science.’
She did a great role in the movie “Orlando”...kinda gender bender

The two documentary awards are always given one after the other.

So what? Do you really think they told the troops that? They offered the troops the relatively politcally benign short doc category and then spun it into the extremely politically-charged full doc category.
