I didn't know that Johnny Depp was up for best actor. After he was nominated for a Golden Globe, I thought that was it for him. I haven't seen any of these movies.
Okay, my turn.
When the heck is John Travolta going to get a better hairpiece? And then come out of the closet?
But wow, Jennifer Garner looks great. But I love her anyway.
I don't care to sit for hours just to see the gowns and weird menswear. I don't want to watch all the males appearing at the podium who have stubble all over their chins and 5 o'clock shadows on their cheeks.
I'm old enough to remember when real stars walked out of the wings in all their glory.....Davis, Hayworth, Hepburn, Flynn, Power, Wayne, Heston, Tracy, Leigh and Olivier.....
Most of today's "stars" are beanbag or lefties. I'll watch "Cold Case Files" and "What Not to Wear" for a while and then freep till bedtime with popcorn and milk duds at hand.
I'll check in here once in a while to see what's cookin' and I won't have to sit through commercials on this thread.
Leni
I've followed his career from back in his 21 Jump Street days.
Okay, I’m watching E! And that is definitely not the first time Ryan Seacrest has held a purse. He looked a natural at it.
With her body, she can wear anything. Why would she wear something so frumpy.
(actually, didn’t she recently have a baby?)
ONZ, more zombies! What IS it with the zombies this month?
Hi Leni! Hear hear for popcorn!
Il’m jaded. Had back stage passes for 7 years. Billy Crystal, and barf whoopie goldberg. Can’t bring myself to watch it on Television.
But she’s always had those lips. She used to be on Days of Our Lives Years ago pre Hamlin when very young and she still had that fish pout so they are real. The tits of course, are not.
She has altered lips that, when formed into the shape of an “o” look like a... let’s just say... nah, it’s rude and I don’t wanna say.
How would I know? JT's bald and gay? Is that part of the Scientology thing? For health reasons?
Who are the zombies?
I wish those Empire blouses would go out of fashion. They make even the 12-year-old girls look pregnant and fat.
If one is pregnant and/or pudgy, of course, they’re rather flattering ...
Heidi Klum and “Seal,” in post #25. Don’t they look Undead to you?
My picks:
BP: No country for old men
Director: Coen Brothers
Actor: Daniel Day Lewis of course
Actress: Julie Christie for Dr. Z again
Supporting: Either Ruby Dee or Cate (Ruby will probably get the sentimental vote)
SA: Javier Bardem - No Country for Old Men
Ratatouie best animated
Probably that idiot mm for his sicko
All in all a boring Oscar year
Maybe Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie will have a fistfight
John Travolta arrives for the 80th Academy Awards Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, in Los Angeles. Travolta will be a presenter during the Oscars telecast.
Actress Kelly Preston arrives at the 80th Academy Awards at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008.
Who the hell is that Seth dude?!
Ooooo. Good choices. Thanks for picking up on Dr Z again. LOL.
