I'm surprised that Persepolis didn't get more support for Best Animated Feature--I've seen that film and it was surprisingly good. (By the way, I've seen Ratatouille on Blu-ray disc and the sharpness of detail is jaw-dropping.)

I’ve been told the ending is weird.

A lot of people hate it, but I think it's perfect - and incredibly moving.

It’s a little-known fact, but the G.I. Joe unit at Hasbro also manufactures toupees.

I loved Fargo, and Raising Arizona. They did O Brother too, right?

“Nathan needs some Huggies.”

Don’t know - my husband’s watching something on PBS with #2 son.

The only listed movie we’ve seen is “Ratatoille,” which I’m *awfully* tired of :-).

Clooney probably has had his share of bad days just like everyone, but this incident was beyond belief.

You know, Walt Disney is the first to ever portray mice as “cute” little creatures.

There is nothing cute about rodents. I don’t care how you dress them, or put lipstick on them, or eyelashes on them, or make them dance and sing.

THEY ARE RODENTS! And, they will poop and pee all over everything, and destroy your property in a very short time.

Aw you didn’t like it? It’s from “Enchanted,” which is the one where the fairy princess leaves the storybook and gets stranded in modern day NYC. I haven’t seen it but it got great reviews.

I think she’s a better singer than Kristin Chenoweth, whom I saw arriving earlier. Chenoweth is so trilly and operatic, uck.
