I only care nowadays for Best Foreign Film, as last year’s winner, “The Lives of Others” blew away anything Hollywood put out.

I hope “Katyn” wins, so that hopefully it will then be finally available here in the States.

Oh it’s really good! I’ll send you the recipe if you want it. And the best part is, it uses frozen boxed spinach.

The suit is hideous, but his wife’s shoes belong on a witch who had a house fall on her...!

Every time I see Cammy I wonder why no one has ever suggested she do something grown-up and/or normal with her hair.

Keri Russell needs to stand up straighter

Richard Roeper looks a bit uncomfortable. Notice too that he is holding back and actually standing back a bit. That's an old gimmick which is supposed to encourage people to lean towards him.

I also heard that there is a short plastic green hedge, out of camera range, which separates the broadcasters and interviewers from the **Stars** on the red carpet.

The up close photo makes her dress look more stunning. I like the darker color dresses this year. The pale pastels from years past made the actresses wearing them look sickly.

:-)

The telecast’s director told everyone in a press conference the other day to make sure and tune in on time. Something spectacular is supposed to happen.

Sooo, uh, yeah.

She probably paid someone a whole bunch of money to have that “I’m just running out to the supermarket” look.

Hey, lainie... thanks for the great thread! I admit I haven’t seen any of those movies (except “Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street”). I guess I’m tuning in just to see if any celebrities make political statements...
