What’s really obscene and abusive is that a meatball appetizer costs $36. ^^

No wonder my grandparents hated the food while they were in England, I’ve been tempted to put things like that on customers bills but I’d never be that crass or cross that line. (I’m in electronics not food service if that makes a difference)

I saw the other thread and posted on it as well. Wanted to post this one, too, since Ed’s commentary is humorous.

We used to program stuff like this to the cooks but, were very care not to let it get printed to the guest check.
When it printed out you’d he them howl in back.

Nearly 2 hours to place your order and get your food?!?Other accounts indicated that the dinner party was ten women. Maybe the two hours wait wasn't all the fault of the restaurant.

No kidding. More than 500 dollars spent for drinks and appetizers! They could have got a forty and a bag of Cheetos with no waiting at all.

We were once using those do-it-yourself price scanners and it started flashing obscene messages. It seems the same system is used to do price changes and inventory and they can also send employees messages on their scanners. Some moron had no idea it went out on every scanner in the store.
I did get about $50 of free stuff for complaining though.
