So, with gasolene prices bobbing up and down. And the economy also bobbing! When and what will it take to get rel action n Aternative energy?Nikola tesla(1856-1943) had the answer more then a 100 years ago!That of broadcasting wirelessly eletric power! He even set up a braodcasting tower for this at Wardecylle,Long Island(Now Shoreham, L.I.) But when he mentioned FREE ELECTRIOC POWER to hs financial backer the great Robber Baron J.P. Morga. Whos meatered eletric power intreste would have been ruined. Ugh. I’m too full to think of eating.

We’ve got a nasty wind out of the north (28 mph) and the twmp is at 55, so that makes it feel about 30. *shudder*

I’ll have to check with ESPN to see if the race is still on. Don’t know how NASCAR does in the wind, but The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will cancel the races if the wind is too high.

They’re even thinking of having two NASCAR races a year, here, now. Won’t THAT be fun?...

I limit my watching of ESPN because of their PCness, which has been a problem for them the past 5 years.

I only switch to ESPN if I want to know the scores, when a game is to be played, or whether or not a race is cancelled. The rest of the time, they would go broke waiting for me to tune in.

Word Girl, Alpha Pig, and whoever that other kid is are all whooping around, spelling things in Spanish. Just a typical morning here. “You can’t fly, James. I can fly!”

The little one is trying,
He doesn’t have the knack,
Although he can lift off okay,
He can’t quite settle back.

But flying’s such a small thing,
He’ll get along alright,
As long as he can disappear,
He’ll be okay in flight.

The older ones compete a lot,
I think that’s for the best.
For soon enough the world at large,
Will put them to the test.

I’ll want them primed and ready,
So far they’re not quite there,
When I decide they should leave the nest,
They’ll be safer in the air.

It’s just the typical chaos,
No need to get upset,
If you think this is unusual,
You ain’t seen nuthin’ yet!

I just got an email from my mother saying she wants to visit on Tuesday. THAT’s why I was dusting yesterday! :-).

She says she’s found a neighbor who will stay with Dad at night, so she wants to make a quick, overnight trip to see how things work out, before she plans any other travel.
