Posted on 02/16/2008 11:35:13 AM PST by Teslaedson

So, with gasolene prices bobbing up and down. And the economy also bobbing! When and what will it take to get rel action n Aternative energy?Nikola tesla(1856-1943) had the answer more then a 100 years ago! That of broadcasting wirelessly eletric power! He even set up a braodcasting tower for this at Wardecylle,Long Island(Now Shoreham, L.I.) But when he mentioned FREE ELECTRIOC POWER to hs financial backer the great Robber Baron J.P. Morga. Whos meatered eletric power intreste would have been ruined. The money was removed and Tesla went into a life long debt!To honor Dr. Tesla in 2005 and 2006 I organized the GLOBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY held every July 10th the birthdate anniversary of Dr tesla. To rembewr Tesla and promote ALTERNATIVE ENERGY AND FUELS,VeHICLES. See the Tesla memorial Society www.teslasociety.com And Pure Energy Systems A Community Built Alternative energy site www.Peswiki.comNikola Tesla/GloBAL ENERGY INDPENDENCE DAY. No!!!!! What is neeeded is REAL ACTIO NOW!!!! Perhaps at least a Day to rember Nikola tesla And PROMTING ALTERNATIVE ENERGY is one way to do this?

But you’re not preaching about how evil humanity’s existence is, nor how crippling our nation will solve all the world’s problems.

Somewhere, I have an email that compares two homes. I’ll have to dig it up and post it here.

I’m sure Al Gore will find a place reserved for him where he will never have to be cold again...

Ah yes, Mr. Murphy and his laws of everything.
Like that one Globall Worming conference they had in NY during a blizzard.

Maybe that’s because it’s all hogwash. The 90% of people in this world who rely on America for one thing or another are incapable of preventing the bad PR from the other other 10%. Which is exactly the 10% that the Leftist Congress wants the Leftist Media to show the 90% of the world.

Gore and his allies are going to have a tough time explaining how the evil human race has somehow messed up the sun and caused it to become quiescent.

Maybe because we didn’t use enough solar cell panels?

We needed those solar panels to suck the warmth from the sun via taunting it.
If someone made energy from light you worked hard to produce, you’d toast them up too.

I KNEW I’d find it! Hope I didn’t keep you from your beer, Bob...The Story of Two Houses

LOOK OVER THE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE FOLLOWING TWO HOUSES AND SEE IF YOU CAN TELL WHICH BELONGS TO AN ENVIRONMENTALIST.

HOUSE # 1:

A 20-room mansion (not including 8 bathrooms) heated by natural gas.

Add on a pool (and a pool house) and a separate guest house all heated by gas. In ONE MONTH ALONE this mansion consumes more energy than the average American household in an ENTIRE YEAR. The average bill for electricity and natural gas runs over $2,400.00 per month. In natural gas alone (which last time we checked was a fossil fuel), this property consumes more than 20 times the national average for an American home. This house is not in a northern or Midwestern “snow belt,” either. It’s in the South.

HOUSE # 2:

Designed by an architecture professor at a leading national university, this house incorporates every “green” feature current home construction can provide. The house contains only 4,000 square feet (4 bedrooms) and is nestled on arid high prairie in the American southwest. A central closet in the house holds geothermal heat pumps drawing ground water
through pipes sunk 300 feet into the ground. The water(usually 67 degrees F.) heats the house in winter and cools it in summer. The system uses no fossil fuels such as oil or natural gas, and it consumes 25% of the electricity required for a conventional heating/cooling system. Rainwater from the roof is collected and funneled into a 25,000 gallon underground cistern. Wastewater from showers, sinks and toilets goes into underground purifying tanks and then into the cistern. The collected water then irrigates the land surrounding the house. Flowers and shrubs native to the area blend the property into the surrounding rural landscape.

HOUSE # 1 (20 room energy guzzling mansion) is outside of Nashville,Tennessee. It is the abode of that renowned environmentalist (and filmmaker) Al Gore.

HOUSE # 2 (model eco-friendly house) is on a ranch near Crawford,Texas. Also known as “the Texas White House,” it is the private residence of the President of the United States, George W. Bush.

So whose house is gentler on the environment? Yet another story you WON’T hear on CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC or read about in the New York Times or the Washington Post. Indeed, for Mr. Gore, it’s truly “an inconvenient truth.”

NO KIDDING

Bill is overconfident about his computer skills. I got a lot of work done today here in the Real World, anyway.

How are you?

I’m hanging in there!
I’m actually planning to head for Mesa, AZ early Tuesday AM to visit with one of my two favorite brothers. (For a week, maybe.)
I think I need some time away...
