I would love to have seen that. We don’t have USA Sports. We’ll get to see the rerun of it, though and then I can see the little cutie! I was rooting for him!

The one we had we adopted. Some woman moved and left the poor thing outside (with only a tool shed to go in and out of). Her daughter came occasionaly to feed it and give it water, but the poor thing was terrified. We took it from her yard and when the daughter came, we told her we were keeping it. She didn't seem to mind.
Duncan, (his name) remained terrified of storms and used to run and hide under the covers. He would shake and shake when he heard thunder and try to get under the pillows! He passed away Dec. of 2006 and I still have him in a box in the room where we all (me and the two other dogs) spend all of our time. I just could not put Duncan back outside in a grave when I knew how frightened he was of storms. I will take him with me and the others when I move.

I am sure you can see him on some of the morning shows. I believe FOX talked a lot about him today, so I am sure they will have him on FOX and Friends.

Silly me...I would have guessed the owner had to be of the opposite sex compared to the dog. ;)

LOL...you are not silly. I had the same thought. I just couldn’t figure what that category was! Thanks to the other FR person who straightened us out.

Maybe someone can post a picture of UNO, tonight’s champion. I don’t know how to do that on here.

Well, get one. Go the local pound, they have dogs that really need homes. Or a rescue group. The dogs will love you forever and you will never regret having a best friend with a wagging tail cuddle up next to you! I am so lucky I have had many, many dogs (cats too, and other assorted pets my children had to have). But dogs were always my favorite and gave me so much love in return. There is nothing like a dog greeting you at the door when you have had a bad day, or sitting with you when you feel sad and alone, they are the best comfort for the smallest effort.

We adopted a 14yr old queensland, one owner only one time. She had lived in a garage for her whole life and the owner was moving and couldn’t take her. We only had her for about 4months before she had to finally be put down. It was so worth it to see her learn to smile and then give us that smile every time she looked at us.
