My first dog was a Beagle, an absolutely charming character, but one who was far more interestd in following his nose than an person. All my others hve been Labs or Lab crosses; they're a lot more pople oriented. Beagles think a lot like cats.

Beagles think a lot like cats.

I have a beagle mix and aside from the fact that he loves human company, he acts so much like a cat sometimes it's freaky.

The beagle is adorable, but I just love that Australia shepherd is a beauty.

Uno walked around last night like he owned the place and he let everyone know it too. Tonight will be interesting, and my hope is he will be the Best of Show.

I'd never been terribly fond of dogs, but years ago, I lived on a farm with some nice folks who owned several Cavalier King Charles spaniels. One in particular was charming, and I enjoyed that dog's company very much.
