Hello! You raise some good points. Thanks....I'm not sure what was meant by "judgment" but now I think he must have meant the judging of acts and deeds of nations. After all, the constant OT theme is God's relationship with Israel....the judging of her people's deeds and so on.

Salvation, surely, must be something different? We are born unique souls, and die that way.

I remember how "apart" I felt as I witnessed my father's death: it was his journey alone to take....
