For those who missed it A long time GOPer came up with the following line: "Benedict Arnold was a war hero"... I could see that being a FREEPER war cry!

I remember hearing that sentiment back in the 2004 election cycle when John F. Kerry was trying to ride into the White House on his having been a "war hero" too...

For the sake of accuracy, the caller was quoting Thomas Sowell who made the Benedict Arnold remark.

I’m pretty sure that was a Freeper. I’ve been quoting the Sowell article, ever since the day it appeared and it has angered a lot of Huckabee and McCain supporters on FreeRepublic. I even added it as my tag line.
