Tell Greg to follow his doctor’s orders and he will heal faster. :) My physical therapy is going fine. Last night was the first night I didn’t throw up afterwards and I didn’t have to get up in the middle of the night and take 2 arthritis strength Tylenol. Woo hoo. And I can almost touch my the back of my waist with my left hand (like barely.)
Good on ya'! Not throwing up is always a good thing.
My experience with PT wasn't so good. In '97 I had some back surgery and for the insurance to pay I had to go through some PT. The snippy little thing basically told me that it was my fault my disk had ruptured. She said it was because I was overweight. She had no knowledge of me but just gave me the standard line. She didn't know that as an adult I kept my weight in check until I ruptured that disk.
I was six months after giving birth to the youngest. I had three c-sections and was slow getting that weight off. I picked up something incorrectly and snap! There it went. Two solid months flat on my back unable to walk. I literally crawled to the bathroom.
Tell me it was all my fault. Not so kokomo. I'd like to see that skinny thing have three c-sections and not have a few challenges after that.
Anyway, it totally soured our relationship and I ignored her after that. I have continued to exercise and be careful. 10 years hence and no problems.
