I’m happy to report that I only have to deal with coyotes and no moose. ;) But it is scary to have coyotes standing across the road, watching us.
I often have moose, elk and deer tracks in the snow on my front lawn during the winter. They come to chew on the evergreens. My wife is a police dispatcher. She often has to dispatch an officer and animal control to relocate a moose from yards in the area.
Many of the houses in the area have irrigation canals running behind the back fences. A couple years ago, we had a mountain lion hunting the backyards for pets. The canals served as easy access. We eventually nailed the cat.
