It’s like I always tell the PeTA types, “When animals stop attacking and eating each other for food, get back to me.”
Got any movies of slaughter houses?
Wolves are cool.
I side with the ranchers and farmers completely.
But I think it is a little silly to talk about the cute little calves, and how they deserve the right to live and such...
After all, we just chop em up and eat em too. I side with the ranchers and farmers because it is their livelihood and property, not because I think some poor little innocent calf should be able to live in peace...I thought that was a little funny...
Welcome to FR.
Wow, it’s like they are carnivores that eat flesh to survive!
Who would have thought?
Whoever made that video is an ignoramus. As a zoology major, I will say that wolves do NOT kill for sport, they kill for food, just like every other predator. Removing them completely would entirely screw up the food chain. I watched a presentation by a ranger at Yellowstone and he explained how populations would explode out of control in an uncontrollable chain reaction if wolves were removed from the ecosystem. Predators kill. They have to eat. That’s life. Waaaa a cute little calf was killed. So what, do you have any idea how many of them there are in the world? Sheesh! Deal with it and stop posting whiny, bleeding heart videos on YouTube portraying them as bloodthirsty murderes. Do that for terrorists instead.
Welcome to FR.

Note: I wasn’t directing my rant at you, rather at the poster of the wolves video.
Got any movies of when pit bulls attack?
Seriously though is it against the law to protect your property in the great lakes? Whats up with this? Are wolves suppose to be endangered? I remember when the spotted owl was hurting the loggers in the Pacific Northwest. The only spotted owls I ever did see were nailed to telephone poles on the side of the road. I guess the loggers were trying to communicate withe environmentalists and PETA.
I had a wolf that was an abandoned pup that someone raised. Then they abondonded her when they realized she wasnt like a “dog”. Stupid people.
Poor thing had serious emotional problems. I went to work after getting her and she ate my waterbed. I kid you not chewed through the side and the mattress what a mess. Then it was the couch then the garage door. Finally got her to stop eating non food items. She had 5 years with me before she passed away. At least she had 5 good years.
Me I got new furniture :)
I don’t want to look at it, thanks for the warning. There is a video on the BBC site, I need an upgrade to get it to play and don’t think I want to see a kill anyway, but they didn’t think wolves would swim to hunt prey. That’s what the article is about. The wolf was swimming to presumably kill a white goose for dinner. There was an accompanying article and some still shots, they might be hard to photograph in the wild.
Gee, I had no idea that wolves are wild animals, and carnivores. I’m shocked, shocked to learn this, and I am farily sure that no one else in this forum had any idea, either. I am waiting for your post with a YouTube link illustrating that water is wet.
