My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Hello Feathers!

Too busy a week and I crashed yesterday. It never rain when it pours.

Talking about our weather, it rains or it snows every other day. We haven’t seen sun for a week - great for sleeping in but lousy for staying awake.

As long as we keep pinging each other we will see beautiful graphics. Mostly yours, granted, but mine can be interesting.

Got off to a late start today. Thank heavens for Kathy and her rousing music. Everything else is going well so far and I hope that it stays that way. Calli cannot wait until I get home because she knows that I will bring dinner and a vanilla milkshake for her.

Glad you like the dog. I picked it for you because you said you had trouble waking up. It often helps me perk up.

Oh, I am happy to hear you have been busy, I was a little concerned that maybe those kidney stones reappeared.

Crashing is good!

I had a lousy night, could not get to sleep, walked the floors until 4:30, then gave up.

Weather here is forecast to be very cold and some snow. I will be house bound until Wednesday, then I have to get out.

Oh how you spoil that cat. Does she love ya?? LOL.

Calli is going to be putting on the pounds, then Tomkow’s fat cat will have competition!

Kathy does like to shake things up in the Lair, then she goes to bed, LOL.

Calli has gained 4 pounds since I got her from the shelter. She is really starting to get sleek and being a long haired cat, looks can be deceiving. LOL

Well, she is very healthy, I am glad you have her, she has a good home and lots of attention -when you’re around that is. ;0)

Usually I plan my weeks so I can deal with them with my limited energy. Then there are weeks where extras insert themselves in which are impossible to turn down. Last week it was two good friends who began and ended the week, making it much better overall, and exhausting as well.

So I crashed with pleasant dreams and it was good.

Must be the season to reconnect with old friends! I received a phone call the other night from a friend I had not talked to in years. It was grand to hear from her.

We we neighbors back in the late 50s and developed a good friendship, life being what it is separated our contact over these last years. To make a long story short, she knows one of my kids and decided to rekindle our friendship, nice. ;0)
