[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

New use for Windex 


(I haven't checked " snopes.com" to see if this actually works or not. )

But they say, if you ever get the sudden urge to run around naked, 

you should drink some Windex first.

You forgot to say how cold it’s been. I looked at the Natl weather map and it looks like a North Pole Low has been stalled over you, yes, GPS says you, for a tortuous winter. We had one like that about 4 years ago and you have my sympathies.

To feel better, go out and buy a few cases of beer and put them on the back porch for when it snows again. Then as beer appears through the snow, drink it. It might make all the weather crap you’ve had a little easier.

We've had a whiter winter than we've had in 4 or 5 years

The graphic is of a famous saying in Britain during WWII that lives on today in memory, prints and t-shirts.

I knew a couple who worked for the British war effort in London at the time and they were the essence of calm, God bless them.

The past 3 winters have been wicked mild and don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it. When snow came early I must admit it wasn’t too welcome yet when it stayed I became happy about finally having it again. We have had lots of beautiful wintry days this season.

A fresh snow fall is beautiful I agree. I do enjoy seeing the landscape all fresh and new and white. It is a painting of nature the truest artist.

I have to sign off now, going to calling hours for a friend.
