or seperate the yolk from the egg-white..cook the white and drop on the yolk at a minute or two to go... Who'd a-thunk? They taste just as good over-easy and it' a lot easier.

trying to cook fried eggs sunny-side up so they looked appealingConsidering that sunny-side up is barely a step above raw, there is NO way to make it look appealing.
Basted; over-easy; steamed while covered without turning; baked.... Even burned is better than all that, runny, slimey raw albumin coating over the top of the yolk.

Couldn’t be any worse then most of the newer MREs. I wish they would bring back the “Meatballs in BBQ Sauce.

Considering that sunny-side up is barely a step above raw, there is NO way to make it look appealing. That's a personal judgment, of course. Check out egg advertising or food magazines. They're always pictured sunny side up so it must appeal to someone. I like mine steamed to medium.

They're always pictured sunny side up so it must appeal to someone. I know, but I also do not know ANYONE who ever eats them that way. Not a single person I have ever breakfasted with during the last 30-40 years, in any part of the country, do I recall ordering or cooking them that way.
Must be a traditional, 'old fashioned' or nostalgia thing, since I do remember it being fairly common in the 1950's & 60's, and it was mainly adults...including my father.

Even burned is better than all that, runny, slimey raw albumin coating over the top of the yolk. Oh yea. I love eggs crispy under, with a top of perfect yellow bubble
full of runny yolk! No restaurant I've ever visited makes them to my order.
I learned make the perfect crispy egg.
