By the way you must be truly proud of "big" blooze for having squeaked by unranked Indiana, giving up only 467 yards to Indiana in the "big" house, an Indiana team that had barely managed to win against such powerhouses as Eastern Michigan, Western Kentucky and Akron.
More "meaningless" polls this week:
(1) Florida 4-0 (2) Texas 4-0 (3) Alabama 4-0 (4) LSU 4-0
Notice a trend here?
Anger and disappointment..........The only trends poor pup understands..............11 and 2 baby.........
To be fair, sharky is not the only Big Blue fan with "rankings sensitivity disorder". Apparently, a majority of the fan base up there has the same affliction and seem to think their losses should be rewarded. I'm remembering a loss to #1 The Ohio State a couple of years back (2006?). They lost the ball game! They lost but for some reason thought they shouldn't suffer a drop in the "rankings". It isn't simply that it matters so much to UM fans about a loss to their conference rival The Ohio State, they actually expect writers, coaches, pundits and fans around the country to care, too.
Maybe we should 'splain that it might matter if ever that game actually establishes a serious contender for a BCS title.
