Don't you all know it's EARTH DAY!

And all you Canadans can think of is hockey! Heck, the (nully is a fan, of course.....heh heh heh) sharks finally made it duck season last night............this must be an earth day omen of major proportions, they actually won a play off game.

All the ice is going to melt because of this, although my little ole truck chasing caribou all over the pristine Alaska landscape may have something to do with it as well.

Global warming shall smite all the ice rinks before the cup is won, along with gran's NH glaciers, mark my words.............and snakes shall dominate the earth once again, while marmots, possums and fritters dance.....

I'm pleased to report that it was sunny and warm here today. Real warm but not hot or humid or oppressive. Just a really lovely, really warm day with brilliant blue skies. The record high temp for this day was set several years back.

We've recently had storms with lots of wind and rain and as a result mother nature has removed lots of dead and dying limbs along with a few really old trees that had reached their expected life span. Plus the city has been washed sparkling clean and fresh from all the rain. Landscapes are thriving and lush, flowers are blooming and we have loads of birds, bees, squirrels, turtles, etc.

IOW, the condition of earth in and around my little patch of it could not be more beautiful or pleasant. So, on this celebration of Earth, I'm going to thank the Good Lord for all his magnificient creations and to ask his forgiveness for all those arrogant loons who think they are capable of destroying anything designed by the Master's hand.

I'm now going back outside to enjoy dinner with a little wine. A dinner that was almost fully prepared outside on the grill. Cheers, FReeoples :)
