Yes, but you do have a tendency to collect strange and troublesome entities on these outings (can't count the times I've had gnomes stumbling into some of my games)....not to mention such things as possums, raccoons and squirrels. Were you a rodent in a past life?
I do love Renaissance attire though. I’ve had lots of fun at the festivals shopping. I worked the festival in Colorado one year and costumed every day it ran. Absolutely loved it, except that it was often time consuming and sometimes not very comfortable, but I never was constrained to wear any of the bulkier type dress. Always felt for the royal court in the summer in all the heavy gowns and robes. I wouldn’t think chain mail would be too comfortable either.
