Brrrr is right. It was miserable cold. Took me a good 2 - 2 1/2 hours running the defroster on high just to get the car thawed out enough to drive it....after I was actually able to get the door open, and I still had to scrape ice off the windshield, and it was a couple more hours after that and driving it for over an hour before I could get the wipers free of the ice. This is the worst ice storm I've seen in many years. Felt like I was living in Sharkey country! The schools were still out today and still over 50,000 people in the county without power.
